The statue was important to ancient Greeks where it stood inside the Naos (east room) on top of a giant pedestal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though it is a well-known site for tourists, <a href=\"https:\/\/clarksvilledumpsterguys.com\/nashville-dumpster-rental\/\">the Nashville<\/a> Parthenon\u2019s permanent collection on the lower level features about 63 paintings by 19th &amp; 20th-century American artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When looking at these pieces of art, you will often find yourself drawn into an entirely new world created by its artist. It features permanent displays from the Cowan Collection as well as temporary exhibitions that showcase Nashville\u2019s rich history dating back to the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The entrance for this structure can be found on the ground level of the East side building near various food vendors who offer unique ethnic dishes such as Moroccan lamb skewers or Greek gyros sandwiches (to name just two).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original architectural masterpiece was built with plaster replicas for visitors to see and admire what many consider as one of the most impressive buildings ever constructed by humankind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside there are sculptures that were once covered on top of this magnificent building back when it first stood around 438 BC until now, but thanks to an act in 1801, these pieces are housed at different locations all over Europe like London\u2019s British Museum or Athens\u2019 Acropolis museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nashville is a city steeped in history. One of the most iconic landmarks to carry this tradition throughout time and space, The Parthenon has been linked with Nashville\u2019s identity from ancient times until now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Parthenon has a long history, having served as the location for both political and mythological rallies.
