- Belle Meade Plantation
With its location approximately 8 miles southwest of downtown Nashville, the Belle Meade Plantation provides visitors with a glimpse into the lives of Tennesseans throughout the 1800s.
The plantation’s 30 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds are centered on a Greek revival-style palace that was erected in 1853 and is studded with bullet holes from the Civil War.
Tours of the mansion’s interior are conducted by guides costumed in period costumes. There are also guided excursions available to take you through the rest of the plantation.
- The Grand Ole Opry
Despite the fact that its location has changed throughout the years, the Grand Ole Opry continues to showcase renowned country musicians such as Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban, among others.
